Flossie was born January 1, 1898 and died January 18, 1968. She married J.C. Bare, better known as Watt on March 1, 1941. Flossie had no children of her own, but helped raise 7 stepchildren. She loved working intricate finger sewing projects, embroidery, cut thread table cloths, etc.
I am told Flossie had red hair when she was young. I don't know why that surprised me - but her hair had been white for as long as I remember her. We use to visit her regularly - I was always fascinated with whatever project she happened to be working on at the time.
